Overlake Added To The KHR Roster
HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!!
Hello 2014 and hello to our latest signing! We are super psyched to announce the addition of Overlake to the Killing Horse Roster. Tom Barrett and Lysa Opfer started Overlake in Jersey City, NJ after being in other bands together and discovering that they had a shared love for 80’s and 90’s alternative and indie rock. Influenced by bands like My Bloody Valentine, Sonic Youth and Pavement and taking on a revolving cast of drummers, they’ve since recorded their first LP, Sighs, scheduled for release on KHR in Spring 2014. Overlake have added drummer Scotty Imp (formerly of California’s The Imps) to their lineup and are going to be playing a ton of shows leading up the release of Sighs – coming to you on 12” vinyl LP, CD and digital formats.
